Q: Can a person make an appointment to be seen at Kell West Urgent Care Center?
A: No appointment is necessary. Kell West Urgent Care Center operates as a walk-in clinic. We make every effort for patients to be seen in a timely manner.

Q: What do I need to do to transfer my care to Kell West Family Practice Clinic?
A: You will need to complete a Medical Release form. For your convenience, you may find this form on our website. Otherwise, we have forms available for you to complete at our office. Once you sign the release, then we take care of the rest to ensure your prior medical records are received by our office.

Q: What kind of insurance do Kell West Family Practice and Kell West Urgent Care Center accept?
A: KWFPC and KWUCC accept most insurance companies including Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Aetna, United Healthcare, Unicare, Healthsmart, and Medicare.

Q: Does KWFPC or KWUCC participate in Medicaid's PCCM (Primary Care Case Management) program?
A: Currently we do not participate in this program. If you have any questions about the PCCM program, contact Medicaid at 1-888-302-6688. However, generally speaking, if a person has Medicare and Medicaid, then he or she can be seen in our clinics as a patient.

Q: Can I come into Kell West Urgent Care Center for prescription refills?
A: Routine prescription refills should be handled through your primary care physician (PCP). The best way to obtain a refill on certain medications is to call your local pharmacy. You may also contact your PCP's nursing staff.

Q: Why do I have to come in for lab work when I feel fine?
A: Although you may feel fine (which is great!) with the medication, we want to personally check to be certain that you are not adversely affected by any medications.

Q: Does Kell West Family Practice Clinic or Kell West Urgent Care Center accept Worker's Compensation claims?
A: Neither Kell West Family Practice Clinic nor Kell West accepts Worker's Compensation claims. Should you suffer from an on-the-job injury, please contact your company's human resources department; they should be able to direct you to an industrial
